Governor Branstad makes leadership changes to two Iowa agencies

Two leadership changes have been made at two Iowa agencies at the request of Governor Terry Branstad.

The executive director of the Iowa Agriculture Development Authority, Jeff Ward, was asked to resign by the governor. Iowa Parole Board chairwoman, Elizabeth Robinson, was also demoted by the governor. 

Branstad chief of staff, Jeff Boeyink says the governor wants to improve integration of its programs. 

Senator Tom Hancock, D-Epworth, whose subcommittee oversees funding for the Parole Board. He says Robinson often failed to confer with lawmakers on budget issues. 

Governor Branstad has promoted Doris Kelly (D) to chair the board
