Iowa State found themselves well represented as the Big 12 postseason honors were announced Sunday afternoon.  Cyclone big man Royce White was named the league's Newcomer of the Year.  Head coach Fred Hoiberg was named the Big 12's Co-Coach of the Year, an honor he shared with Bill Self of Kansas.

White, also named to the All-Big 12 first team, led the Cyclones in points, assists, and rebounds this past season.  He was the first Iowa State player named the first team since Craig Brackins in 2009.

Hoiberg led Iowa State to a 22-9 record in just his second season at the helm.  The Cyclones were chosen to finish 8th in the Big 12 in the preseason.  After Saturday's win over #9 Baylor, Iowa State will enter this week's Big 12 tournament as the league's 3rd seeded team.

Senior guard Scott Christopherson was named a 3rd team All-Bir 12 selection.  Sophomore Melvin Ejim and Senior Chris Allen received honorable mention honors.
