Chase ends with crash; ISP cruiser damaged

Two people from Alabama have been arrested after a chase along Interstate 80 in Iowa County Sunday morning.  The chase ended with a crash and a patrol car damaged.  Troopers say it started when they noticed a stolen silver Buick from Shorewood, Illinois parked at the westbound rest area near Victor.  When troopers approached, the driver sped off.  About 30 minutes later, the driver sideswiped an Iowa State Patrol cruiser, then hit a guard cable in the westbound lanes before stopping.  That's when troopers arrested 28-year-old James Langford of Gurley, Alabama and 31-year-old Crystal Tipton of Woodville, Alabama.  Both are now in the Iowa County Jail with charges pending.  No-one was hurt.
