The Employers Council of Northeast Iowa (ECI), in partnership with IowaWORKS, is offering a "Lunch and Learn" session for businesses on labor market information.

The workshop will allow businesses to understand how to access and analyze labor market information and identify resources that can assist with gathering that information for customers.

Debra Ostrem, bureau chief on employment statistics, Donna Burkett, labor force and occupation analysis bureau chief, and John Good, regional research & analysis bureau with Iowa Workforce Development in Des Moines, will be presenting the workshop, and will answer questions on this hot topic.  

The training will be followed by a short business workforce alliance meeting with information on veterans services presented by Glen Gassman, veterans employment specialist with IowaWORKS.

The training will be offered on  Tuesday, April 24 from noon – 2:00 p.m. at IowaWORKS, 680 Main Street, Rooms 231/232 in Dubuque.  It will be repeated on Wednesday, April 25 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at IowaWORKS, 312 Winnebago Street in Decorah.
