President Obama's campaign gets revved up in Black Hawk County

Volunteers are getting revved up to get President Barack Obama's re-election campaign up and running.

The Black Hawk County democrats held a meeting earlier this evening to begin working on campaign strategies and training.

The group discussed what worked in Obama's last campaign and what will be done differently and the same this year.

Some feel that even the president needs a campaign in order to be seen in the upcoming election.

"Of course, there are some great people running on both sides, but we're here to re-elect our President, because we believe in what he stands for. We support what he stands for and we want him to be here another four years," Campaign Volunteer Steve Perkins said.

The Black Hawk County group will begin door to door and online campaigning for the November elections as early as next week.
