Rain forces second delay of Daytona 500

NASCAR's season-opening Daytona 500 was postponed yesterday for the first time in the 54-year history of the race, and more rain Monday morning is pushing it to prime time.

The race was originally moved to 12:13 p.m. Eastern time, but officials say because of more rain Monday morning, the green flag will fly at 7:02 p.m. Monday night.  The race will air on Fox.

NASCAR spent more than four hours waiting for a window to dry the famed high-banked track, and the race was finally pushed back a day when another storm cell passed over the speedway around 5 p.m. Officials are prepared to wait all day and into the night to avoid a Tuesday race.

Carl Edwards has the pole for "The Great American Race."

The Sprint Cup series will head to Phoenix for this weekend's race
