IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Iowa City police have found and arrested the third man wanted in connection with the armed robbery of the Creekside Market in February.

Police were called to the market at 2601 Highway 6 East at around 11:00 p.m. on Feb. 22.  The victim told police that a man came into the store, jumped over the counter and grabbed her from behind in a choke hold. She also said that he held a knife to her neck and demanded money from the cash register. She gave the money to him and the man ran away. The victim received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

While reviewing the surveillance video, two late night patrol officers said they recognized the man jumping the counter.

In March, police arrested Jackie Lane, 18, and Daveon Curry, 18. Police say Lane was the man who jumped over the counter and held a knife to the throat of the store employee. Lane is charged with first degree robbery, going armed with intent and assault with a dangerous weapon.  Police say Curry was the lookout while Lane went in to rob the store.  Curry is charged with first degree robbery, and joint criminal conduct for assault with a dangerous weapon and going armed with intent.

In March, police also charged 18-year-old Dantreil Ware with distracting the clerk so Lane could sneak up and commit the robbery. Police issued a warrant for Ware in March, and say he was picked up in Chicago on a warrant and is now in their custody.  Ware is charged with first degree robbery, going armed with intent and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Police say Lane got away with more than $400.  Curry told police he got about $40 as his cut of the money.
