Meth making materials found in Jackson County home

JACKSON COUNTY (KWWL) -

Law enforcement in Jackson County say they found meth making materials in a home near Miles.

Jackson County deputies along with officers from Sabula, Preston and Maquoketa executed a search warrant at 9619 495th Avenue on Tuesday.

Inside the home, authorities say they found materials used to make methamphetamine.

They arrested 44-year-old Robert Owen McClain on warrants unrelated to the search of his home.  He was taken to the Clinton County Jail.

Charges related to the search of his home are pending.
