3A Girls Regional Final: Wahlert crushes Independence 71-29 to advance to state

MANCHESTER (KWWL) -

6th ranked Dubuque Wahlert had very little trouble in beating Independence 71-29 in a 3A Regional Final in Manchester to advance to the State Tournament. The Golden Eagles improved to 20-4 and they will face Bishop Heelan in a first round game next Tuesday afternoon at 1:45 at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
