Ghosts? Paranormal group investigates activity at Waterloo home

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A paranormal investigation is taking place at a historic house in Waterloo.

A group is looking for ghosts at the Rensselaer Russell House Museum.

Members of the Calhoun County Paranormal Investigators set up cameras, sound equipment and other monitoring devices inside the historic home Friday night.

They are spending the night, hoping to see 6-year-old Genevieve - the daughter of Rensselaer and Caroline Russell.

Genevieve died in the 1800s but it has been said she shows up from time to time in the home.

"We have infrared night vision and audio recorders. We have scientific devices that take readings and whatnot and we just go around and scan and check things out and ask questions and see what we can catch," said co-founder Seth Alne.

The group says they'll cover every square inch of the home overnight hoping to find any evidence they can record scientifically.
