Family of former UI law professor files lawsuit against the hospital

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

The family of a University of Iowa law professor who died of colon cancer is suing the university.

David Baldus died in June at the age of 75

His family filed the claim against the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. They say doctors failed to diagnose the cancer and treatment came too late.

University officials declined comment.
