A woman driving on Highway V66, just south of Marengo, was killed when she lost control and went into a ditch.

The Iowa County Sheriff's Office says 31-year-old Corie Lynn Kinkead of Belle Plaine was driving northbound Wednesday afternoon when she lost control and her vehicle rolled on the highway and went into a ditch.

Officials say Kinkead was alone in the vehicle when the accident happened and she was wearing her seatbelt. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
