Frontier Airlines coming to Cedar Rapids

DENVER, Colo. (KWWL) -

Frontier Airlines announced on Thursday that it will launch a new service from Denver to five cities including Cedar Rapids.

Frontier is adding year-round service from Denver to Cedar Rapids and Bloomington/Normal, Illinois, along with seasonal service to three other cities.

Introductory fares begin at $60 each way for Denver-Cedar Rapids service.  These fares are available at through Feb. 29, for travel through mid to late June.

Frontier will begin service to Cedar Rapids on May 18, and will fly a 99-seat Embraer 190 aircraft. The flights will offer onboard Wi-Fi service from Gogo.
