Police search for Iowa City jewelry store thief

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Police are trying to find a man who broke into a jewelry store in the Iowa City ped mall.

The break-in happened at the Bella Joli jewelry store, Sunday, January 28th, just after 3:30 a.m.

This suspect stole several items from the business.

Police say the suspect appears to be a white male wearing blue jeans, with a very distinct all-black hooded winter coat, with white fabric accents only beneath the sleeves.
