Waterloo man found guilty in shooting


A man has been convicted in a shooting in Waterloo.

Police arrested 20-year-old Joshua Douglas of Waterloo after the July 6, shooting in the area of Linn and Adams Streets.

Douglas was charged with going armed with intent, intimidation with a dangerous weapon, and a probation violation.

A jury found him guilty of those charges last week. A sentencing date is pending.

Joshua Douglas is scheduled to be back in court Feb. 14, after a probation violation for carrying weapons, drug possession and public intoxication.
