WATERLOO (KWWL) -

KWWL's Danielle Wagner's dream of being a cookie eating champion was fulfilled Sunday morning.

During Today in Iowa, our weekend morning crew hosted the Third Annual Girl Scout Cookie Eating Contest.

Danielle Wagner and Jennifer Hildreth competed against two police officers: Justin Brandt from Waterloo and Chris Copp from Cedar Falls.

They had 45 seconds to eat as many Girl Scout cookies as possible.

The police officers ate 10 cookies.

Team KWWL ate 16 cookies for the victory.

Girl Scout cookies go on sale Saturday, February 11th for $3.50 per box.

For the first time ever, the Girl Scouts are doing direct sales-- meaning you get your cookies as you order them.
