James buzzer beater drops 13th ranked Creighton

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) -

Anthony James hit a top of the key 3 pointer as time expired as UNI pulled off the major upset dropping 13th ranked Creighton 65-62.

The buzzer beater followed some late game heroics by Creighton's Antoine Young.  With the Bluejays down 3, Young hit from beyond the arc, briefly tying the game at 62 with just over 4 seconds remaining.  It was all for naught, however, as James drove the court moments later for the game winner.

James led the Panther attack with 16 points, 14 of which were scored in the second half.  Freshman Seth Tuttle added 13 in the win.

UNI's victory snapped Creighton's winning streak at 11 games.  The Panthers move 1o 16-9 overall and 6-7 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
