The Iowa Hawkeyes signed 24 recruits Wednesday-- including tailback Barkley Hill of Cedar Falls, one of two runningbacks signing with Iowa.

Hill, who originally committed to Iowa State, chose to sign with the Hawks after visiting Iowa City a couple of weeks ago.

Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz says Hill is a talented back who fills a critical need. When asked why Hill chose the Hawks over the Cyclones, Ferentz talked about how Iowa always kept the door open.
