Evansdale police arrest two after finding meth lab

EVANSDALE (KWWL) -

Evansdale police arrested two people Monday after finding an active meth lab in their home.

Police say they served a search warrant at 218 5th Street in Evansdale on Monday and found more than five grams of methamphetamine, an active meth lab and various meth making materials.

They arrested 49-year-old Duane Alcott and 54-year-old Diana McNamee. Chief Randy Weber says both Alcott and McNamee are in the hospital.

Weber says Alcott had severe burns on his hands from when a meth lab blew up on him Friday.

Charges against Alcott and McNamee are pending.
