Crews say they saw smoke coming out of a two story house. Investigators say the fire was started by an unattended candle in the bedroom.

Everyone made it out of the house. One person was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for injuries. Authorities have not released the victim's condition or name.

The three displaced people are being assisted by Red Cross. Authorities also have not released the names of the people displaced.

Officials estimate the house sustained at least $50,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
