UPDATE: One dead in Highway 20 crash

DELAWARE COUNTY (KWWL) -

One person is dead and an Evansdale man injured after a crash involving a semi on Highway 20 in Delaware County Sunday morning.

The Iowa State Patrol says 50-year-old Daniel Nurre of Dyersville was headed west in the eastbound lanes of Highway 20 near mile marker 283 just after 4 a.m. Sunday when he crashed into a semi driven by 47-year-old John Robins of Evansdale. Robins was taken to a Manchester hospital for treatment. Nurre died in the crash. The eastbound lanes were closed to traffic between 5 and 8 a.m.
