Nashua (KWWL) -- Kevin Klobassa of Nashua-Plainfield is a multi-sport athlete but when it comes to basketball the ball just seems to find the net.
"He brings a lot of heart and soul to the team the kid is fearless he's got 74 free throw attempts that's more than a lot of schools attempt as a team and he just knows the game very well he can find the teammate that he needs to and shoots the ball very well." Said Huskies head coach Justin Eiffler.
Klobassa ranks second in the state in class 2A scoring, averaging 25.8 points per contest and is raining in 41 percent from behind the three point line. To get to this point he has constantly worked on his shot.
"Just by getting in the gym, getting your shots in, work day in and day out, and practice as you play." Said Athlete of the Week, Kevin Klobassa
The 5'9" senior may be the leader on the court but it's his dedication to sports in general that has him taking on a leadership roll. Placing 10th at the state cross county meet this past fall and his commitment to track and baseball make Klobassa the floor general he has become.
While the season hasn't started out exactly how the Huskies have planed, with the players they have returning after the break, they feel they will find their groove and become the team they want to be
