GOP candidates touring Eastern Iowa


Republican presidential candidates are touring through Iowa Monday speaking with voters before the January 3rd caucuses in Iowa.  

Candidate Newt Gingrich will be meeting with supporters in Iowa City throughout the morning hours.  He will then travel to Davenport and meet with employees of Global Security Services. Afterwards, Gingrich will  stop in Hiawatha tonight at 7:00 for a town hall meeting at Level 10 Apparel.  

Texas Governor Rick Perry will also be touring eastern Iowa Monday as well.  Perry will start his day in Elkader hosting a meet and greet at Johnson's restaurant starting at 10:15 Monday morning.  He will then travel to another meet and greet at the Pizza Ranch restaurant in Manchester at noon.  Afterwards, he will go to Dyersville to meet with voters at the Country Junction Restaurant at 4:30 Monday night.  His final stop will be in Dubuque at 6:00 this evening to talk with voters at the Manna Java World Cafe.  

Candidate Michele Bachmann will visit with voters Monday afternoon at 4:30 in Decorah at Dragonfly books.  She will also be in Waverly Monday night at 6:00 for a town hall meeting at the Pizza Ranch restaurant.
