HARDIN COUNTY (KWWL) -

The Iowa State Patrol says four members of a family from Dunkerton were injured when their minivan went off the road.  They say the driver was reaching for a pair of sunglasses when the vehicle went off the road.  Troopers say 49-year-old Deborah Ehr of Dunkerton was headed east on Highway 20 when the crash happened around 3 p.m. Sunday.  Troopers say Ehr was blinded by the sun and reached for sunglasses.  That's when her minivan left the road.  Troopers say her minivan then swerved across the road, then flipped.  They say 13-year-old Andrew Ehr was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle.  He was taken to an Iowa Falls hospital for treatment.  Deborah Ehr, 13-year-old Melanie Ehr, and 17-year old Joshua Ehr were wearing their seatbelts.  They were also taken to an Iowa Falls hospital for treatment.
