Cyclones in the Big Apple to promote Pinstripe Bowl

It's still three weeks before the kickoff of the Pinstripe Bowl game between Iowa State and Rutgers, but Wednesday, the head coaches and athletic directors of both schools were in the Big Apple to promote the game.

Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads and Cyclone athletic director Jamie Pollard were in New York City to represent the Cyclone football program.

They Cyclones are making their second bowl appearance in three years, but very first trip to New York City.

The Cyclones, 6-6, will face Rutgers, 8-4, at Yankee Stadium on Friday, December 30.  Kick-off is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. Iowa time.
