UNI, ISU to host NCAA volleyball matches


The UNI and Iowa State volleyball teams will be staying home for the first 2 rounds of the NCAA tournament.  The Panthers and Cyclones were both selected to host on the first weekend.

UNI picked up the 6th overall seed in this year's tournament.  The Panthers (32-1) will host Niagara (25-8) on Friday in the McLeod Center.  Missouri and Florida will meet earlier in the evening with the winners set to match-up in Saturday's second round.

Iowa State was given the 4th overall seed.  The Cyclones (22-5) will host UW-Milwaukee (25-4) on Friday in Hilton Coliseum.  Miami and Northern Illinois round out the rest of the bracket.
