IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

A Grinnell woman is facing a theft charge after police say she was part of a scheme involving Craigslist and Hawkeye football tickets.

An Iowa City man responded to a Craigslist post in August offering tickets for the Iowa versus Nebraska football game.

According to police, the man made contact with a Tabitha who said she was the girlfriend of the person selling the tickets.

The criminal complaint states that the man used a credit card to put a $375 deposit on the tickets on Aug. 13, and the remainder was charged to his credit card on Sept. 14.  He claims he never got the tickets.

Police identified 28-year-old Tabitha Sue Jensen of Grinnell as the suspect.

Jensen is charged with second degree theft.

According to online court records, Jensen is facing third degree theft charges for incidents that happened in June of 2010.
