Don Bosco wins first ever playoff game 15-12 over Grundy Center

Class A playoff football in Grundy Center with the Spartans making their first playoff appearance in 17 years, hosting a Don Bosco team making their first postseason appearance in school history.

In the first quarter, the Spartans' Conner Noteboom gets into the end zone from four yards out to take Grundy Center to an early 6-0 lead.

In the second quarter, this time it's Cody Cole running and diving into the end zone from four yards out and Grundy Center leads 12-0 at halftime.

Don Bosco finally gets on the board in the third quarter and the Dons' Mark Weber flies in and blocks a Jordan Clapp punt out of the end zone for a safety. Grundy Center still leads 12-2.

The Dons get closer and Jake Hogan with the option pitch to Jake Phillips who scores from three yards out and it's now 12-8 Grundy Center.

Don Bosco scores a touchdown with five minutes to play to pull out a 15-12 victory over Grundy Center.
