Two Chicago women arrested for stealing from Waterloo store

Two Chicago women have been arrested following an investigation into thefts from the Waterloo Best Buy store.

Police were called to the store at 2541 Crossroads Boulevard on Saturday regarding several thefts involving three females.

Police say Carletta Qwenita Williams, 25, and Tiwana Lynn Davis, 29, were caught on surveillance camera on at least two separate occasions stealing electronics.

Police say on one occasion, Williams and Davis used a juvenile to distract store security while they walked out of the store with items they hadn't paid for.

The items stolen are valued at $3,800.

Williams is charged with second degree theft, forgery and using a juvenile to commit certain offenses.

Davis is charged with second degree theft and providing false information. They were both booked into the Black Hawk County Jail on $25,000 bond.
