Hawks prepare for Homecoming and Indiana

It's homecoming week at the University of the Iowa, and it appears the Hawkeyes have the perfect opponent this Saturday coming to Kinnick Stadium.

An Indiana team with just one win comes to town after a 52 point blowout loss at Wisconsin last week.

The odds makers have made Iowa a 23 point favorite to pick up their second Big Ten win of the season.

The Hawks behind a big night from Marcus Coker ran for 155 yards in their win over northwestern. Now Iowa faces an Indiana team that is giving up 227 yards a game on the ground including a whopping five yards a carry.

Coach Kirk Ferentz said, "in a perfect world, we would like to be balanced, and hopefully we can get the run and pass complementing each other, and I think we had a little success with that the other night. We did a little bit better job there. So in a perfect world, that's what we would like to do but you also do what the defense dictates a lot of times."

Kick off is set for 11:05 Saturday morning at Kinnick.
