Cedar Rapids police looking for two people using stolen credit cards

The Cedar Rapids Police Department is asking for your help in identifying two people they say are using a stolen credit card in the city.

Sergeant Cristy Hamblin says that a black man who is accompanied by a white female has been using the card on the both the east and west sides of the city.

Hamblin says the card was stolen during a burglary on August 28.  The pair is believed to be driving a small, red or burgundy, four-door vehicle.

She adds that the pair may be associated with a black female wearing a blonde wig they say used a credit card stolen from a 70-year old woman in the overnight hours of August 27 and 28.  She was seen with another black female using that card in several stores racking up hundreds of dollars in charges.

If you have information regarding this or any crime, call Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME (272-7463).  If the information you give, leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a reward.  All calls are anonymous.
