The Maquoketa Cardinals wasted little time going eight plays and capping it off with Coakley finding #7 Perry Hawks darting down the sidelines all by himself for a 44-yard touchdown reception.
Next series for the Knights, Scheels finds the injured Quarterback Trev Hadachek three different times through the air with this pass completion the biggest as it would set up Wes Burnside once again going 17 hard fought yards to the zone. Knights 12 Cardinals 7 at the end of one.
To start the Second Quarter the Cardinals march 73-yards on 11-plays with Craig Johnson taking it off the leftside for a one yard touchdown plunge. Cardinals 14 Knights 12.
A few minutes later the Cardinals strike once again through the air, Coakley finding Jonathan Bopes for 24-yard TD grab putting the white and red up 21 to 12. It was 21-15 at the half and in the end the Cardinals wear the Knights down winning 35-15, improving their record to 6 and 1 while the Knights fall to 5 and 2.
