Clarksville upsets Janesville 33-21


A big 8-player game in Janesville as rivals Clarksville and Janesville meet in a critical district matchup.

This was a back and forth affair with each team trading momentum.

The Wildcats would go deep on the first play of the game. Hunter Meyer would connect with Drew Huber.

Josh Despard would later score making it 7-0 Wildcats.

They would extend the lead to 14-0 after a 25 yard run by Caleb Reeves.

Clarksville would get on the board on the first play of the 2nd quarter with a Dalton Ciaverelli touchdown.

He would score again to tie the game before connecting with Collin Jacobs on a long TD to make it 21-14.

After a Clarksville score, Josh Despard would convert a 4th and 1 play into a long TD run to let the Wildcats climb back into the game 27-21.

But the Indians would put it out of reach with another TD late to win 33-21.
