DUBUQUE (KWWL) -

In today's competitive job market, employers are looking for applicants with the skills, training, education and customer service to fit their companies.  Job seekers are being challenged to use a variety of job search methods, update their skills and education, develop professional resumes and cover letters and sharpen their innovative skills.

If you're beginning your job search, thinking about a career change, or have been frustrated with your job search results, you can get some help in the process through an upcoming workshop.

IowaWORKS is holding a training session October 6th from 8:00 a.m. to noon at its Dubuque office at 680 Main Street.  Dick Gaither, president of Job Search Training Systems, Inc. will deliver the keynote address.

To attend this workshop, you must register.  Call (563) 556-5800 to sign up.
