CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids Police say five kids were inside a home that someone fired shots at on Wednesday night.

Officers were called to 1640 A Avenue NE at around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday night.  On scene, investigators found two bullet holes in a back window and found two .22 caliber shell casings outside.

Isrrael Santiago, Sr., 43, and his wife, Kizzie Jones, 39, were in the house with their five kids. Two bullets entered the living room where Jones and two of the kids were according to Sergeant Cristy Hamblin.

No one was injured.

Hamblin says the couple doesn't know who shot at the house, but adds that Santiago was uncooperative during the investigation and told police that if he knew, he doesn't give out names like that.

The investigation continues.
