UPDATE: Arrest made in Cedar Rapids stabbing

CEDAR RAPIDS (KWWL) -

Cedar Rapids Police have arrested a Marion man in connection with a stabbing that happened last September.

Around 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 22, police were called to 110 Harbet Avenue NW, Apartment #4. They say 32-year-old Stephen Allen went to the building to visit friends and was stabbed several times in the head, back and neck.

On Tuesday, police arrested 28-year-old Jason Aaron Morris at his home in Marion. Morris is charged with attempted murder.
