HANOVER, Ill. (KWWL) -

The Jo Daviess County Illinois Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man in Hanover.

Deputies were called to 5468 West Blanding Road at 5:00 p.m. Sunday for a report of an unresponsive man.

After an investigation, they determined that Dalvin Johnson, 54, of Hanover, Illinois, had died, but they say his death isn't suspicious.

Deputies did find marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the house and searched the home on Monday.  They seized about 216 marijuana plants.

The man who called in the death, John Luka, was arrested for Unlawful Production of Cannabis Sativa Plant.

The investigation into Johnson's death is ongoing.
