University police make arrests on game day

IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

When the Iowa Hawkeys took on Tennessee Tech on Saturday, University Police were patrolling the stadium grounds.

Two PAULS citation were issued, as well as 39 Open Container in Public citations. No tickets were issued for public urination or public consumption of liquor.

Ten people were arrested on game day. They include:

Blain Flanagan, 20, of Iowa City for Public Intox.

Jonathon Slomski, 29, of Gilbert, Illinois for Public Intox.

Trevor Rhiner, 23, of Urbandale for Public Intox.

Stephen Bartuce, 40, of Arlington Heights, Illinois for Public Intox.

Joshua Wachendorf, 27, of North Liberty for Public Intox.

Elizabeth Collins, 19, of Iowa City for Public Intox.

Brittany Murray, 19, of Cedar Rapids for Public Intox.

James Tucker, 55, for Public Intox.

Michael Decker, 49, of Independence for OWI, and Open Container in Vehicle.

Michael Bateman, 36, of Cedar Rapids for Public Intox.

Six people were transported to the Johnson County Jail.
