Janesville rips Dunkerton 42-6


In 8 player football - two teams with postseason aspirations meet on the gridiron. Janesville easily won its season opener last week 65-0 over Central City, while Dunkerton lost 45-24 to Clarksville.

Early in the first quarter, Janesville with a little misdirection, and Nick Watson scampers in for the early touchdown.

Later in the first, Josh Despard takes the snap and runs in from 20 yards out for a 14-0 lead, Wildcat coach Travis Miller is loving it.

Dunkerton trying to get something started, Jacob Boshen with the nice one-handed grab, but the Raiders wouldn't capitalize.

Later on that drive, Despard again, this time with a nice shoestring interception, he takes it back all the way to the 10 yard line.

Finishing off the drive early in the second quarter, quarterback Hunter Meyer with the easy toss to Watson in the endzone for a 21-0 lead. Wildcat fans having a good time as Janesville wins this one in a rout, 42-6.
