Clarksville's Dalton Ciavarelli was simply spectacular last Friday night. The junior racked up 224 yards on the ground and a remarkable 6 touchdowns in a 45 – 24 win over Dunkerton.
"I knew it would be a good game and we got a good line to block for me," said the athlete of the week Dalton Ciavarelli.
Another advantage Dalton Ciavarelli has is that he lines up in the backfield with his older brother and senior, Caleb Ciavarelli. The Brothers have pushed each other to become better each day.
"We always been played together I guess so its never really been competitive its more like if were together then we play together and just kind of play as one," said older brother Caleb Ciavarelli.
On the Defensive side of the football, Dalton Ciavarelli recorded 19 total tackles Friday night playing iron man style, 8-man football once again next to brother Caleb.
"They just really work well together you know you got those two guys on there that can both easily be first team all state linebackers to compliment our offense that's a good thing to have," said head coach Clint Hospodarsky.
After winning their first playoff game in school history last season, the Indians are ready to take that next step deep into the playoffs.
"We feel like right now just looking at our team that, could we lose a game ya but could we go undefeated I think so. I think we have the team if we put it together and everything goes our way I think we can be a team that a lot of team are going to have to worry about," said coach Hospodarsky.
"It's always our goal to make it to the playoffs and be a good team to represent Clarksville" said Dalton Ciavarelli.
