A crash involving two semis on the Julien Dubuque Bridge in Dubuque blocked traffic for a couple hours Wednesday morning.

One of the semis was carrying part of a wind turbine.

It happened on the west side of the bridge, that connects Dubuque with East Dubuque, Illinois.

No one was hurt, but the crash caused more than $275,000 damage, mostly to the blade of the wind turbine.

The crash impacted northbound traffic on Highway 52, and access between Highway 20 and the bridge.

Traffic was moving again around 11:00 a.m.
