Arraignment delayed for Dodger Stadium beating suspects

Arraignment has been postponed for two Southern California men charged with severely beating a San Francisco Giants fan at Dodger Stadium on opening day of this year's baseball season.

Twenty-nine-year-old Louie Sanchez and 30-year-old Marvin Norwood appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom Monday, but the proceeding was continued to Aug. 10.

Both are accused of mayhem and assault in the March 31, attack on 42-year-old paramedic Bryan Stow, who was beaten into a coma and remains hospitalized. A law enforcement official said Monday the two are also suspected of assaulting three other Giants fans at that game.

Los Angeles police had arrested another man as the prime suspect, but cleared him after the arrests of Norwood and Sanchez last Thursday.
