2 Homecomings Wednesday, 4 More Thursday

The Iowa Army National Guard announced homecoming ceremonies will be held Wednesday, July 20, in Denison and Red Oak. The homecoming in Denison is for 130 soldiers with Company D of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team. The homecoming in Red Oak is for 80 soldiers with Company F.

Homecoming ceremonies Thursday, July 21, are being held in Mt. Pleasant, Keokuk, Johnston, and Sioux City.

The homecoming in Mt. Pleasant is for about 50 soldiers with the 832nd Engineer Company. The ceremony starts at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant High School.

The homecoming in Keokuk is for about 45 soldiers with Detachment 1 of the 832nd Engineer Company. The ceremony starts at 2:00 p.m. at Keokuk High School.

The homecoming in Johnston is for about 45 soldiers with Troop A, 1st Squadron, 113th Cavalry and selected members of other Iowa National Guard units. The ceremony starts at 1:30 p.m. at Camp Dodge.

The homecoming in Sioux City is for about 75 soldiers with Company D, 334th Brigade Support Battalion. The ceremony starts at 2:30 p.m. at the North High School gym.
