IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

A Cedar Rapids man is now facing several charges for allegedly selling drugs to an undercover officer on two occasions earlier this year.

Mason Paul Gassmann, 22, is now charged with three counts of a controlled substance violation and three counts of a tax stamp violation.

According to the criminal complaint, Gassmann met with an undercover officer at the BP gas station in Swisher on January 28 and sold the officer one ounce of cocaine for $1,000.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says Gassmann then met with an undercover officer at the same place on February 23 and sold the officer one ounce of cocaine for $1,000 and two ounces of marijuana for $700.

The sheriff's office says the transactions were recorded.
