Three Cedar Valley volunteers headed to help with Minneapolis tornado

Three Cedar Valley volunteers are being sent to Minneapolis by the Hawkeye Chapter of the American Red Cross to help those impacted by the May 22 tornado.

Mary Bucy from Cedar Falls, Don Lynch from New Hampton, and Lloyd Bradley from Greene will leave Wednesday morning and will help at the shelter set-up at the North Commons Rec Center in Minneapolis.

Hundreds of homes were damaged and thousands were left without power when the tornado hit on May 22.
