Adam Robinson transferring from Iowa

It appears Adam Robinson's run in the Iowa Hawkeye backfield is officially over.

A published report in the Des Moines Register has Robinson's mother saying the two year starting tailback is transferring to another school.

Robinson led the Hawkeyes in rushing during his freshman and sophomore seasons,  but he was dismissed from the team following a drug arrest in late December.

In an interview back in January, Robinson said he was hoping to be reinstated to play football at Iowa and was still going to school.

But it appears that opportunity has passed.

Robinson rushed for nearly 18-hundred yards and 15 touchdowns in his two seasons at Iowa.
