Gas prices continue to rise in Iowa

According to IowaStateGasPrices.com, the average gas price in Iowa rose two cents in the last week.

The average retail price in Iowa was at $3.93 per gallon on Sunday, which is what the average national price rose to last week.

Prices in Iowa were $1.12 per gallon higher than the same time last year and 16.5 cents higher than a month ago.

According to the website, the lowest price is in Storm Lake where it is $3.71 per gallon and the highest is in Iowa City where it's $4.19 a gallon.

The website shows that in Waterloo, prices range from $3.81 per gallon to $3.96 a gallon.  In Dubuque it ranges from $3.99 to $4.05 a gallon.  In Cedar Rapids, the range is from $3.87 to $3.99 a gallon.
