IOWA CITY (KWWL) -

Two Iowa City men now face drug charges after police executed two separate search warrants.

Lee Phipps,18, has been charged with keeping a drug house and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. Police searched Phipps' home in the 900 block of N. Dodge Street in Iowa City Monday.  During the search, authorities located marijuana, a scale, and other drug paraphernalia.

In a separate incident, drug charges have now been filed against 22-year-old Nicholas Maas.  Back in December, police searched his home in the 200 block of E. Burlington in Iowa City.  During the search, authorities located marijuana, digital scales, pipes, syringes, and other drug paraphernalia.  Officers also found steroids and amphetamines.

Maas was just convicted in April of drug possession stemming from another incident.  Now, he faces one count of possessing drug paraphernalia, one count for possession of marijuana, three counts for possession of a controlled substance, and another three counts for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, relating to the December bust.
