Police say Coralville woman allowed her 12-year old to do drugs

CORALVILLE (KWWL) -

Police say a Coralville woman is charged with child endangerment for letting her 12-year old daughter do drugs.

Police say the girl came to the police department on April 28 and said that her mom, Victoria Michelle Ekwall, 32, allowed her to do drugs in her presence.

Police the drugs were Schedule I and Schedule II narcotics.

The girl also told police that her mom tired to make her shave her head in an effort to hide her hair follicles as evidence.

Police say the incidents happened between March 1 and April 28, 2011.
