WATERLOO (KWWL) -

Additional burglary charges have been filed against a Waterloo man in an ongoing investigation.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office arrested two men for the burglary of a rural Black Hawk County home on Sunday.

Deputies were called to the vacant home after the owner reported that items were missing.

When they arrived, deputies found that it was a burglary in progress.

They found 25-year-old Michael Dawson, and 28-year-old Daniel Deluhery, and a pick-up with items taken from the property in the bed of the truck.

Dawson was charged with third degree burglary and four counts of driving while suspended.  Deluhery was charged with third degree burglary.

On Tuesday, the Sheriff Office filed additional charges after property from other burglaries in Black Hawk County and Grundy County was found after serving a search warrant at Dawson's home.

Dawson is also charged with an additional count of third degree burglary, second degree theft, third degree theft, and possession of weapons by a felon.
